Today is day one of the Boundless Summer Challenge 2k18! So get excited, Boundless friends, and keep your hands and feet inside the cart at all times because it\u2019s going to be a wild ride. We\u2019re starting slow this week but we\u2019ll be picking up speed as the weeks go on. Are you willing to live life on the edge, follow God and love people radically?<\/p>\n

Are you ready for this? Here we go!<\/p>\n

Challenge #1 details:<\/h2>\n

Do this in community! Convince a friend to also do the Boundless Summer Challenge 2018<\/a>. \u00a0This could be a co-worker, significant other or best friend. Commit to touch base at least once a week and encourage each other throughout the summer to take action.<\/p>\n

Photo guidelines:<\/h3>\n

Snap a photo or create a collage of you and your friend together and post it to Instagram. Remember to tag @BoundlessTeam<\/a> and use the #BoundlessChallenge2k18<\/a>. Is your friend for the challenge not local? Create a collage of you both. Even though you are doing this with a friend, you each need to take different photos because there\u2019s only one winner per week. Be creative with captions, camera angles and filters! To be eligible to win this week’s prize (a Boundless T-shirt!), post your photo before next Monday, June 25.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re really struggling to find a friend to do this challenge with, reach out to the Boundless community and get to know someone else out there who could join you.<\/p>\n

To go above and beyond,<\/strong> memorize Hebrews 10:24-25<\/a>:<\/p>\n

And\u00a0let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and\u00a0all the more as you see\u00a0the Day drawing near.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Intentionally Pursuing Community<\/h3>\n

God has called us to do life together. It\u2019s simple, yet we get caught up in the busyness of everyday life and neglect the principle. Maybe you\u2019re thinking, Well, I attend church Sunday morning and a small group throughout the week. I have community figured out.<\/em> But have you taken time to truly invest in someone else\u2019s life or catch up with a friend? If we\u2019re not intentional when it comes to community, we can easily become complacent.<\/p>\n

An authentic friendship isn’t just something we desire\u00a0\u2014 the idea of being a friend for another person during difficult times is found in Scripture. In Galatians 6:2<\/a>, Paul said,<\/p>\n

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
