We are fast approaching the midway point in this summer challenge, and we’ve loved see photos of all you who are doing it with us! I hope you are ready for a sweet week three because everyone loves food, and we are out to prove it this week. Personally, I love receiving gifts but find it hard to be the giver. This week is all about giving to those around you in your profession and meeting their needs.<\/p>\n

Week three starts now!<\/p>\n

Challenge #3 details:<\/strong> Bless your co-workers with goodies (or something healthy). This could be buying those around you Starbucks drinks, ordering Chick-Fil-A nuggets or baking cookies. It doesn\u2019t have to be expensive, just be thoughtful!\u00a0Something small can go a long way in brightening your co-workers\u2019 day. And it\u2019s a chance to extend friendship.<\/p>\n

Photo guidelines:<\/strong> Snap a photo of you and your co-workers enjoying the food you brought and post it on Instagram. Remember to tag @BoundlessTeam<\/a> and use the #BoundlessChallenge2k18<\/a>. Be creative with captions, camera angles and filters! To be eligible to win this week\u2019s prize (a Boundless T-shirt!), post your photo before next Monday, July 9!<\/p>\n

To go above and beyond,<\/strong> follow up with a co-worker and schedule a meal together in the future\u00a0\u2014\u00a0look for opportunities to form a new friendship! If this is the case, tag @BoundlessTeam on Instagram with the #BoundlessChallenge2k18 in the weeks to come.<\/p>\n

Food and Friends<\/strong><\/h3>\n

My grandmother often left cinnamon rolls in our car for us boys to find after school. She knew how to brighten our day. Now I\u2019m guessing your co-workers don\u2019t have grandmas blessing them weekly, \u00a0but such a simple act of kindness can shape and change the human heart, especially in the lull of the afternoon when your stomach starts complaining.<\/p>\n

But maybe you don\u2019t get along with all of your co-workers. Maybe they\u2019ve offended you and you’ve barely spoken in months. Kill them with kindness.<\/p>\n

You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:39<\/a>)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What an opportunity we have to minister to those God has put us in community with. We are called to be the salt and light of the world, reflecting the love of Christ to those around us. We are called to love our neighbors and maybe one very small way of doing that is bringing food to work.<\/p>\n
